It is with mixed feelings that Nigerians received the news of the salary cut of political office holders. While some said it was a welcome development, others were filled with a lot of misgiving as they posit that other means of checking the impending financial crisis should have been used.

The question most analyst are asking is, will this not create a political stalemate?

Woman kills husband

A sad incident occured in Benue State, Nigeria a few days ago following the refusal of a house wife to sleep with her husband without a condom. The man’s insistence to sleep with his wife without condom leads to a fight. He was beating her with a stick when in self defence, she grabs it from him and hits him on the neck. The man slumped and died. The woman was arrested and charged to court. She was found quilty and sentenced to two years imprisonment.

Journalist sort to know why the woman insisted on the husband using condom before going to bed with her. She said, she suspected he was HIV positive.
